Philips Iron Not Steaming
To curb this you will have to thoroughly clean the steam generator iron.

If you have a philips steam iron with a temperature dial always make sure that the temperature dial is at the 2 dot 3 dot or the linen position. You just need to get the right solutions to descale the steam generator iron properly. Set the temperature setting to 3 dot and above as shown in the image below.
By using these your iron gets contaminated and might get damaged or fail. 9 00 am 6 00 pm. Vinegar has always been the best in descaling.
If the red calc clean light is blinking on your iron in combination with a beeping sound your philips steam generator iron needs to be descaled before it can produce steam again. To activate the steam boost in your philips steam iron press the steam boost button trigger. This is not a hard task for any individual.
The iron needs to be descaled. Steam boost is not available at 1 dot 2 dot temperature settings. For the iron models with optimaltemp you do not need to adjust the temperature setting.
